How certification works
1. Application
Manufacturers submit their products and documentation to the IBSA Sport Medical Certification Center.
2. Technical review
Equipment is assessed against IBSA sport-specific technical and safety standards.
3. Certification decision
The committee issues a decision with a unique certificate number and reference.
4. Publication
Certificates are published with a QR code and can be verified publicly at any time.
Public verification
Every IBSA certificate carries a unique QR code. Scan it with your phone or search by certificate number, company or product name to confirm its authenticity and current status.
